Materials & Planning

Materials
Once the design has been approved, materials are normally agreed so that the budget can be set shortly after.
Setting the budget!
Once the budget has been set it will not increase unless more work is undertaken from the original plans or something has been changed in agreement with both parties.
Contracts
This usually details the work, budget, what's included, roughly how long it will take and any other information particular to your garden.
Scale Drawings
These are produced before the project starts so the contractors have detailed information to work from.
Planting Plans
I will produce these when all the layout plans have been finalised, these will be affected by the plant suppliers stock at the time of purchase but will be adhered to as closely as possible.
The planting can make or break a garden which is why I like to include this with the landscaping work.
It is done with you in mind, based on your soil type, position and aspect, likes or dislikes and time available to spend in the garden.
Overseeing the project
I like to mark out the site to start with, this ensures everything is in its right place.
I am on site most days to ensure smooth running of the project and to add woman power where necessary.
